Of course Solmon and Ayla are the stars of the show. But I'd like to dedicate this site to my lovely and intelligent wife, Shawna. Without her, none of this would've been possible. When she said "You're never going to train that cat to use the toilet.", that's all I needed to hear. From then on, I was commited to success. She gave the same, encouraging words when I decided to teach them to flush. She got me back for proving her wrong by talking me into a second cat/student. Seriously though, once we decided to train them we worked as a team on this. This is necessary to provide the consistency required by the training. I guess I can thank her for turning me into a "cat person."

Shawna is working towards a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree at the University of Wisconsin -Madison. With over 3 1/2 years completed, she is 7/8 veterinarian. Although these programs are more competitve than most medical schools, Shawna has done very well. She is also a good friend and an excellent kitty-mom. I am proud of her and love her very much.
